A display of textile art competition entries
The One Red Thread Textile Art Prize was started in 2012 by Elizabeth Dubbelde of Berry Quilt Retreat. The idea came about due to one red leaf on a vine that had almost covered the full side of her house, sparking the concept of an exhibition titled ‘One Red Leaf’. As a result the ‘One Red Thread’ Textile Art Prize was born.
Each year since, the theme of the exhibition has ‘RED’ somewhere within the title.
The theme for 2018 is ‘WeatheRED’ – and it is open to quilters, textile artists and artists. The theme is open to the interpretation of the designer.
