If you’re a student, parent or teacher who wants to bring a student along for HSC inspiration, this is a must-see. Student projects include a written portfolio that explains their investigation into their ideas for their projects, which results in a very creative showcase.

Technology Education Association (TEA) Seminars by Textiles & Design teachers

Student seminars will focus on the development and production of the Major Textiles Project, with a focus on proficiency, creativity and innovation in relation to the Stage 6 Textiles and Design Syllabus and Marking Guidelines. At the conclusion of the course, students will also have the opportunity to view and analyse the exhibition – showcasing the 2017 Textiles and Design – HSC MTP Works of Excellence.

Student Seminars

Teacher Seminars

The Teacher Seminar will be presented by an experienced HSC Textiles and Design teacher and will focus on the classroom management of the Major Textiles Project (MTP). The seminar will impart detailed information and provide relevant experience to give participants a deep understanding of what is required for the Stage 6 Textiles and Design Major Textiles Project.

Participants will be given comprehensive information about management and teaching strategies for the MTP that can be utilised in the classroom. At the conclusion participants will have the opportunity to view and analyse the exhibition showcasing the 2017 Textiles and Design MSC MTP Works of Excellence.

When: Saturday March 10, 2018.
Seminar will commence at 10:00am,
concluding at 1:00pm.
Seminar Cost: $35* per participant.
