Make your own unique hanging plants

Friday, November 24
1pm to 2.30pm

String gardens, or kokedamas as they are commonly known, are said to be the poor
man’s bonsai in Japan, but we like to think of them a little differently and reckon they’re
an awesome way to keep small indoor plants in your home.
In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to make a kokedama string garden,
including how to mix your own soil and plant selection.
To get you in the festive spirit we will have an assortment of plants and coloured strings
to choose from. You will get to make two of your own unique hanging planters to take
home (or give one as a Christmas present)!
Workshop Includes: Everything mentioned above.
Skill Level: This is an introduction to kokedamas
Students Bring: Creativity and some scissors.
Class Cost: $55* SOLD OUT!

*Show entry ticket must be bought separately
