Resin Jewellery • 10am to 1pm

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to work with resin, then this is the perfect class for you! Join Myléne Hillam and learn the finer points in the art of making your own resin bangles and rings. No experience necessary as you will learn as you go. This class covers basic colouring and casting techniques, and how to finish your unique pieces that you can wear at home. You will be working with quick-curing polyurethane resin so you can complete the entire process in class. Plus, you will learn two colouring techniques, colour-blocking and marbling to cast two bangles and a ring.

Workshop includes: Quick curing polyurethane resin silicone bangle and ring moulds and colourants.

Skill level: All levels. No experience required.

Students bring: An old long-sleeved shirt to protect your clothing to cover your arms all the way down to your wrists (¾ length shirts not suitable).

Please also bring your glasses if you use them for craft.

Kokedama • 1.30pm to 3.30pm

Learn the Japanese art of kokedama with award-winning florist Elise Rosen. Kokedama simply means moss ball and Elise will take you step-by-step through the process and method to make and complete your very own kokedama to take home! Plus, you will be given tips on how to care for your kokedama.

Workshop includes: A shade-loving plant perfect for kokedama, a box to take it home in and all associated materials.

Skill level: All levels. No experience required.
