Ever thought of making your own headpiece for that special occasion?  Join Kate McKell and Jane Moy in fun and informative millinery classes happening each day at the show!



Kate McKell and Jane Moy are two enthusiastic mad hatters with a wow factor and will share their passion and expert advice with you. Plus, see their work on display!



Create a fascinator suitable for a day at the races or a high tea or for occasions where headwear is required. You will craft a flower that may be adapted to use as a broach, headpiece, wristlet or any other fashion accessory. 

You will learn techniques around moulding and sculpting of foundation materials where necessary and the assembling of more than one material to complete and design headwear.

Workshop includes: Veiling, bases, wire, feathers, bands, Eva Foam and carry bags with acid free tissue paper for completed items.

Skill level: All levels welcome

Students bring: Aprons, scissors, wire cutters, varying shades of cottons, needles, millinery straw needles, 450 Stainless Glue or UHU glue (spotlight) disposable gloves. Crafters Sewing Kit, pens, pencils and notepad.  AWL if possible..
